Yeah it was very odd that they didn’t run his license at either traffic stop. He was stopped back to back and the appear to act suspicious in at least one of those stop that we can tell by the audio and video.

There is no way LEO wasn’t told to stop them and at least observe them to see who was in the car and what else they visual collect. To not run his license or even get them out of the car once they started talk nonsense seems to be give away that they were stopped on purpose.

Seems very odd to me the FBI would ask Indiana to stop him twice. Why would you not have one stop in say South Dakota and on in Indiana? That seems like a good way to piss off a serial killer and give them a hint you are onto them?

I'm not even sure incriminating is the right word as much as idiotic, especially for a undergrad criminology major not to mention a PHd student. Assuming he had his car there for months, I don't know why you would change it all of a sudden after you committed a crime unless you were just stupidly nervous and unable to control your emotions.

You are literally drawing major attention to yourself to change a license plate for a vehicle matching the description of a major local crime.

If he has done everything mentioned he's one stupid SOB.

Here I was thinking the murderer might have pulled it off. The police just kept very quiet and knew they were going to find the perp.

FBI didn’t have them stop the car. I’m in LE and know a really good interdiction guy in Indiana.

There’s things LE looks for to indicate criminal behavior and Kohberger did all of those things prior to both stops. Indiana has a fantastic interdiction program running their interstates, most of the interdiction is drug interdiction but criminal behavior is criminal behavior.

The guys that stopped them knew something was up with Kohberger but at first believed it was drug trafficking. I kind of understand why people put FBI on a pedestal but they absolutely lean on local agencies a lot more than they are willing to admit.

The roomie is pretty damn lucky she just yelled for them to be quiet instead of banging on the door. She very well could've been the next victim.

I appreciate that but I’ve also never seen a vegan body builder so there’s some truth to it in my mind, at least.

There are actually quite a few... or at least they claim to be vegan or vegetarian.

My brother...he is that dumbass.....
Ive been following in the shadows cause I own a rental house in the area...my property was well away from the unfortunate ending of 4 lives, bust I did send in my footage back on Nov 15 for Nov 10-14....no elantras.

I'm more mad that he put everyone in the family at risk for conviction...I asked him about gsl he asked "got something to hide?". I respect that position but reality is a computer fricks it up and the whole family feels it cause you wanted a preplanned paper saying where you are from

What are you trying to say? The stops were random but they notified people higher up after the stops were made that he was very suspicious?

There is an article out last night that states that the FBI did ask Indiana police to stop the car so the FBI could get video footage of his hands.

This made me laugh! So those guys are so good that they just had a feeling about that car out of the thousands they see on shift? Yea ok. They aren’t that good.

I saw it on the news that the FBI asked for a stop not only to see his hands but to get a mental state check being they couldn’t arrest him yet. According to the report it’s fairly common.

It’s been actually reported that the FBI had them stop the vehicle.

They were not instructed to stop the car by the FBI, there were criminal indicators that Kohberger displayed while driving that drew their attention.

And no there’s systems in place to alert people whenever a tag is ran or a name is ran. Interdiction officers often ask a lot of questions during that initial encounter to determine if the driving pattern indicated criminal activity or if they were just nervous from seeing a cop.

Coming from an interdiction officer that works with these guys that did the stop. FBI isn’t going to risk spooking him by stopping him twice in a row.

And to the person who doubts guys being able to spot criminal activity believe it if you want but Louisiana and Mississippi have some of the best criminal interdiction guys in the country as well as Indiana.

To induce stress hoping if he did get suspicious they could trade off tipping their hand [slightly] with a mistake. E.g. since father was with him you know his intended destination is father's home. If he suddenly changed those plans as in asked the father to rent a car and he goes to some other destination they can either adjust the surveillance or use a federal warrant and make him an interstate fugitive.

Come on man stop! I’m crying. If La is so good at it, why don’t they stop the dirt bikes blasting down the interstate through New Orleans. Can’t do that but can detect a serial killer in a Hyundai
