Same. I bet he stalked them from a distance. I doubt this nut was an acquaintance, invited to parties, gatherings, etc. I'd bet that they ever meet him.

This guy is a distant loser with no friends, no girl, no meaningful family, nothing. A loser. Nothing more. Nothing less.

Stick him in an extremely small and tight metal dog kennel, lock it up, and stick it out in the middle of an open field/pasture in Texas on a July, or August day and let nature take its course.

You may be right, but the violence involved suggest one of the girls shot his arse down and this was very personal to him. We will see.

I’d be willing to bet he went to a party at that house at least once. The proximity to Pullman, known party house. A friend could’ve brought him to a party and he got fixated on one of the girls. But I don’t see how he’d be comfortable enough in a house he’d never been to while moving throughout the whole house.

While at DeSales, Kohberger posted in a Reddit community for former prisoners to ask for help with a research survey about “how emotions and psychological traits influence decision-making when committing a crime.”

In the post “student investigator” Kohberger wrote his project “seeks to understand how emotions and psychological traits influence decision-making when committing a crime.”

Questions he asked respondents took on eerie new significance in light of his alleged crimes, including: “Before making your move, how did you approach the victim or target?” “After committing the crime, what were you thinking and feeling?”

“Did you prepare for the crime before leaving your home? What were you thinking and feeling at this point? And “why did you choose that victim or target over others?”

A former school friend told the Daily Beast Kohberger started boxing in his senior year of high school and had taken criminal justice classes with a view to potentially becoming a cop.

“He always wanted to fight somebody, he was bullying people. We started cutting him off from our friend group because he was 100 percent a different person,” Nick Mcloughlin told the outlet.

I don't think it suggests a personal connection to any of the victims. Rejection and humiliation from women he has known in the past, particularly his mother, would be a more plausible explanation for violence directed at other women.

Don't "people you may know" pop up on Facebook, etc. pages?

Perhaps one of the girls popped up on his, since it's quite possible they had mutual acquaintances.
And he just followed them from there.

I always joke that girls/women who major in psychology in college are doing so to try to figure out what’s wrong with them
I heard a similar thing about nurses 35 years ago: that they were trying to fix others because they couldn’t fix themselves.

A gross generalization, I know, but, as we always have sometimes said here: stereotypes may or may not exist for some real or imagined reasons?

Both girls. I think he was just a psycho and fixated on these girls randomly.
Wasn't one of the girls on OnlyFans? Could have left him embarrassed or feeling rejected if it was just a tease for money. But the proximity suggests this was more personal.

He may have spoken to any of them online, impressing them that he was working toward a PHD. Then pics were swapped, the girl grew colder, and he got mad.

He is from the generation that has problems speaking to other people if it is not through a device. We are going to find out that he was connected electronically, a little beyond following 3 of them. We may even find out later that he had tried to befriend someone in their orbit, after following them on IG.

ETA: Did I say something that goes blatantly against known facts, or are the downvote queers just having a bad monkeypox flare day? Either way, frick them and their $2 mothers.

Thoughts that perhaps the guy and his girlfriend were killed first because he walked into that bedroom first while searching for one of the two other girls?

How would they have his DNA on record previous the arrest? Only two ways, if he was previously arrested and gave a sample, a family member had given a sample (and they were able to closely match), or he gave his DNA to one of those ancestry websites and they got that. Otherwise they would need enough to get a warrant to get his DNA.

Retired Special Agent John MacVeigh told investigative reporter Terri Parker that Kohberger does not have a vehicle registered in his name and no criminal history, meaning while police were running DNA and fingerprint checks from the crime scene on the national database, Kohberger would not have shown up as a match.

"They would have found no criminal history, nothing in the database, and so if they then linked him some by other means, then they would have probably set up a surveillance on him," said MacVeigh.

"Possibly the bureau would have done that for them, set up surveillance, and you wait until, you know, he spits on the ground, he drops a tissue, he's at a deli, and he takes a glass, something like that," said MacVeigh, who said agents then would have compared DNA on the discarded item to DNA at the crime scene.

Saw a video from a girl in one of his classes. She claims his grading behavior really changed post 11/12.

He started handing out A’s and would leave minimal commentary which was completely different than earlier in the semester where he was way more strict (e.g. failed the whole class) and detailed in his grading/commentary.

One of the comments I noticed in her video. fricking freak.

He's a loser because he murdered people, not because of any of the things you've mentioned.

Wow. Him casting doubt on fraternity bros and wondering if it’s some part of their culture may really speak to how he feels about people in Greek Life.
