Ok cool thanks. That was never really touched on from the reports nor this thread.
My guess is since he added them on IG, he at least had a preliminary conversation with one of them. Or maybe knew someone who knew where they lived.

He also drove down to Colorado in early December, not sure if there is an explanation for that.

Did anyone confirm those weren't just fake accounts added after he was announced as a suspect? I never saw for sure either way.

I could be wrong but wasn’t the original warrant for one single tower near the house that his phone didn’t ping from - and then they expanded to other towers/date range with an additional warrant on the 23rd?
Yes. Early on they got a search warrant for any cell phones that utilized cell phone towers in close proximity to house on King Rd between 3am and 5am on Nov 13th (record of what phones touched base with those cell towers during time frame). At some point (presumably after info from WSU & after finding his ticket in August where he stated number to the officer) they searched those existing records of those 2 hours from nearby towers for his number which came up blank, and then on Dec 23rd they applied for and were granted a search warrant for the records of his specific number for November 12th through 14th (anywhere). On same day, Dec 23rd, after reviewing the data received they applied for a 2nd search warrant for the records of his phone number going back to June which was also granted the same day (as well as receiving those additional records the same day).

how this guy is so confident he will be exonerated.
One of the traits of a psychopath is extreme arrogance.

I thought Maddie and Xana both worked at the Greek restaurant together? Which just so happens to be the two rooms he went to.
What are the chances he knew which rooms to go into though? Obviously something like a house party is possible. This guy seems pretty weird though and not the type of person they'd want around. Not to mention he was a grad student and had only been there for a couple months.

Almost certainly fake, I searched for his profiles almost immediately when he was named and didn’t see anything.

do you have a link that discusses this?
From November 15th
Will have to find something that confirms Kohberger went there, haven't been able to find anything yet

Good points.
He had to have familiarity with the house. Rumor was the sliding door was always unlocked. Safe to say that was his point of entry and exit. So did he plan on busting the window out if it was locked? Did he know that door was always unlocked?

This guy is fricked. Just hope the prosecution has everything buttoned up so this psycho doesn’t get freed based on a mistake.

I have no reason to believe it, but believe that he watched for them all to leave, then went into their house between August and early November. He probably went room to room, wearing a pair of panties on his head, familiarizing himself with the layout, and who lives where.
This boy is eaten up with the cray and takes chances, contrary to his education, that ultimately got him caught.

Pretty sure that was all fake

You read the affidavit? It stated his cell phone pings revealed he had staked the house out 12 times over a period of months.

You know I'm usually Team Supa. But Chicken has been doing his homework. His scenario seems most likely to me.
appreciate you too Reb
yeah Chicken’s scenario does seem more logical
especially the part about the knife sheath upstairs under the victim
so he slips in, goes upstairs and kills the two girls
comes downstairs and kils the couple and then jets out leaving dylan unharmed
would seem to indicate that one or both of the two victims upstairs were the primary target, since he bypassed people to kill them first
i read that Kohberger had two instagram accounts and followed two of the victims before the murders. the affidavit shows he was stalking the house as well. trolls have added fake instagram accounts to their followers but i read that two of the Kohberger accounts are following them from before the murders. not sure if that instagram stuff is confirmed though
how did he come across them initially?
social media? nightlife interaction?
had he ever been in the house before?
it seems like he had a pretty good idea who lived in what room and he moved with purpose

Yeah, wouldn't be hard for him to get the layout of the house and who stayed in which room if he staked it out several times before.
Pair of binoculars and a bit of time would tell you that pretty quickly.
ETA, that's another reason he may not of known about DM being on that floor. I think there was another roommate that moved out that previously used that room if I remember correctly.

pretty sure that has all been nuked from IG though
