There's nothing funny or "right" about ruining the life of a person who has been here for 25 years, raising a family, and working hard. Instead of upending a good family, ICE should be assisting these GOOD people through a process leading to expedited citizenship. But nah, that doesn't look as BADASS in the ICE hype videos.

So what about the thousands that are waiting their turn, paying their money to do things the right way that these frickers that’s jumped ahead of by coming illegally??? Just frick them huh??

Your virtue signaling is noted but rejected. I hope they round up the frickers that’s been here for 25 years with never an attempt to become a citizen before the hardened criminals.

no, I’m laughing that you think Hispanics are outperforming Americans. They aren’t, they are just underbidding them by a significant margin.

Being here and pushing the illegals to front of the line are against the law. ICE cannot legislate amnesty.

And 100% No on any more illegals ever being given citizenship as part of any kind of BS amnesty that has never helped slow down illegals and usually motivates more of it. I want all of them gone, but at a minimum I never want to see them vote, have full rights and privileges like citizens, be fully subjected to the jurisdiction of the US, or have their kids automatically become citizens at birth. They should also remain deportable like any legal alien for committing deportable offenses minus the entering or being in the country illegally.

If they want citizenship they can leave and get in line to apply for legal immigration like others do all the time without breaking the law.

the mere irony that this country was founded by immigrants*

Immigrants who came legally through ports of entry and followed the laws at the time and we were not entitled to any benefits at the expense of the taxpayer.

Immigration that is illegal and immoral. Immigration that costs taxpayers billions and is being used by a political party to give them an advantage in elections against the citizenry.

Let’s at least be honest

Not reading 12 pages, but it's bullshite that they can't leave their house. ICE is not deporting the women and children and their anchor babies.

Want to know the easiest solution? Outperform the Hispanics that are currently dominating those trades. People would be willing to pay more for better quality and more efficiency- the thing is, you don't get either of those in those trades with American labo

bullshite. Back when this problem started American labor quality was great, but the big biz republicans and farmers allowed illegals to come and stay and undercut American labor. That was in the 80’s. American trade quality has been slowly declining because Americans know there’s no point in committing to a career in construction unless you’re a felon and have no choice. Couple that with the government paying people to do nothing, knowing that people will always do what is in their economic best interests without regard to whether it is the right thing to do.

It won’t be replaced overnight, and anyone can see that. If their labor is so integral to our country’s future, why hasn’t it always been this way? The answer would be that our own government has now created an entitlement class that is unwilling to do those jobs anymore.

And a policy of mass deportations without mass entitlement cuts are going to have some interesting economic impacts.

Once you over stay a year the chances of coming back are slim to none

I mean, shouldn’t it go without saying that all means of obtaining citizenship would be streamlined? I’m not saying anyone should jump ahead of anyone. I’m saying the process is broken.

Also, you’re truly a shitty person to wish ill will on good people. You act like the fact you’re an American is anything more than cosmic luck. You literally did nothing to become a citizen, same as these folks. So how about you get off your high horse, champ?

She made that choice. Her mother is a citizen so they can file the family petition. Chances are good since she is under a year

"Police nabbed my dad" works, too, and sounds closer to the cadence of navidad.

There may be some alternative options, I would suggest speaking an immigration attorney. FWIW the bar for over stay of 180-364 days is only 3 years, not 10.

While I agree that nabbed holds closer to the N sound of Navidad, the hard A sound doesn't as much.

Got has that short ah sound of nah-vee-dahd

Cadence holds the same for both. Each have their strengths.
