Our whole area needs restaurants bad. Although the Mexican food in Ruskin is crazy good. Check out tacos los 7 hermanos. Their burritos are better than some meals I've had in Mexico...

So glad you left and you and yours are safe! I can only imagine how stressful it is to worry about your home, but you don't have to worry about your family.

Why the hell didn't they move their equipment to higher ground?

His age is starting to show, but more like Frank Gore than Shaun Alexander.

Based on the picture in normal conditions, I think the anchor guy is right. Maybe the reporter was thinking it was 10-12 feet above sea level? I dunno.

Who owns the ship baw? I know a DPO officer on one and he's out there right now. Not sure exactly where he is though.

I'm a little surprised they didn't move the trucks to higher ground - though in coastal FL, your "higher ground" choices may be limited.
Might also be time to get them sweet FEMA dollars for new rigs.

Many Floridians getting caught with their pants down in regards to the storm surge. I have a feeling most never believed the gulf would come find them. This has to be one of the worst storm surges Florida has ever experienced

lol they're waist deep in water with the trucks still in the bays. Check their fb page.

Maybe the live video of the ambulance and fire truck sitting in the station? Maybe it's an illusion.

Battery powered fire engines - no electricity!

You would think if they would have had a sandbag or two at least
