I10 east and west bound shut down in BR

The bridge is close. 18 wheelers are stacked up on the west side of the bridge.

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -
I-10 is closed in both directions between Lafayette and Baton Rouge due to several overturned 18-wheelers.
According to Louisiana State Police Troop I, there are four to five 18-wheelers involved. Traffic on I-10 West is being detoured onto I-110 North to US 190 West. Traffic on I-10 East is being detoured to I-49 North to US 190 East.
LSP says the highway will be shut down for a minimum of six hours.
Motorists are urged to use alternate routes and to leave in enough time to make it to your destination.
