I know where he lives and it's a window unit. Should be pretty easy to F up (and replace for that matter). "

Call an attorney your friend probably already has (or will as soon as she speaks with her parents).
You're on the hook as bad as it sounds and if any third party property damage happened you can expect a summons for it.
Your insurance company is not your friend but rather a risk investor nothing more.

A Louisiana resident who is in an accident found to be caused by an uninsured or underinsured motorist may wish to seek the services of an experienced personal injury attorney. A personal injury attorney may be able to help you receive compensation for medical expenses and property repairs that occurred as the result of the accident. Most personal injury attorneys will work on a contingency basis, so you won't need to provide any payment until you reach a settlement.
Never mind, calling an attorney to discuss your rights and liabilities for free is a bad idea....

My insurance has already told me this is coded as a non-fault accident when I filed the claim and there is a police report to back it up. The guy ran into the back of me when I was stopped at a red light.

I had that happen to me and it was $3K damage. The guy hauled arse and I did not give chase because of a child in my car. I gave description and partial tag to cops. 2 months later still nuttin. I finally spotted the jeep at a work site and called cops. They came, he fessed up. No insurance, outdated license, shitty job, no money. I ate the deductible. 2 years later his mom paid me half and that was it. CSB.

The POS probably has warrants so when they catch him he'll likely be locked up for awhile. And I would def tell your lawyer that Geico wouldn't allow you to carry both uninsured motorist and collision. That is complete BS. They should be obligated to pay for everything including your friend's pain and suffering. I wish I would've been there, I would have used excessive force for that citizen's arrest. Sorry this happened to you Pox :( I hope everything gets worked out soon.
