All I can say is that unless it's at a small business or you were a contractor, HR generally requires a mountain of paperwork and review periods before they walk you out the gate. You had to know this was coming.

Three obvious points:

1) No boss or company fires or runs off a good performing salesperson without good reason. The main reason being they suck at their job

2) Good sales people are very hard to find. IF she was good, she would have no problem landing something immediately in her field, or in any other remotely similar field

3) She is doing a really bad job of selling herself here, which tells me all I need to know (And my company is looking for sales people in Louisiana).

There are lots of online work at home jobs like call center, sales follow ups etc.
