Took me about 10 days drinking about that amount... but for much longer. Shakes took about 10 days and felt completely fine after 2 weeks. Really thought I was going to die the first few days.

allow yourself to only drink redbreast 21 or 27. You'll stop doing this.

Just smoke some weed baw and the shakes will go away. If it can calm Parkinson’s symptoms for a while, then surely it can do the same with the shakes.

It is if someone has been averaging 10 drinks (including beer) per week for years before going on the bender.

So 10 drinks per week for years is going to cause withdrawals if you stop?

I've been separated from my soon to be ex wife (no pics) for about two months. Since the separation, I've going through a bottle of bourbon every day and a half.

Congrats brother.

Shakes all depend on how long and how much youve been consuming. If youve only been full on for 2 months this is a great time to stop and get yourself together.

It will never come to fruition but I believe marijuana is the key to helping addicts across the globe, especially the ones that are chronic abusers.

I firmly believe the little relief you get from a joint or a bowl is enough to save an alcoholic or opioid addict from using that day.

Addiction wins are built day by day until youve rewired your brain and have a new cleaner, healthier routine.

Im proud of you for stopping.

I didnt have any sort of withdrawal symptoms when I stopped, but just know that it gets easier, and your life will improve.

Went through it myself, came out cleaner and stronger. It’s been 6 years but my son lives with me now, life is good.

This fricked me up a couple years ago. I went 8 days with no sleep. I gave in and went to the liquor store. Was sleeping like a baby after a few drinks. I quit again recently. Prepared for it this time and waned myself off.

Well said. I was just thinking about this. Been pondering drinking all day due to all the stress. I don't know if having a few drinks and decompressing will make me feel better more or less than how I'll feel tomorrow if I don't give in

Not likely, but drinking 10 drinks per week for years does increase the likelihood of DTs if they go on a months long bender then completely like the OP has done.

I will tell you what city I practice in just as soon as you work on your reading comprehension skills.
