We've had 35-36 test positive at work since this started. All but 6 have now returned with no problems.

Message I still don’t know a person in real life who has had covid

I know two people personally. My 4th grade teacher spent two weeks in the icu with it last week. My family’s former housekeeping and babysiter who is an unofficial part of my family and my second mother tested positive last week. I was pretty surprised that she didn’t have any major problems since she is 93 years old.

Heard of a few here at the plant. Someone died who was a member of the same church my uncle went to.
That's all.

Friend of mine almost died from it. Ventilator for 5 weeks and doctors told his wife to prepare for the worst. He pulled through about two weeks ago but is in for a long recovery. Took him almost a week to walk again.

He’s in England. Mid 50s. Overweight and pale.

They can down vote away but I agree. I don’t know a single soul that had the virus.

You're in the minority then.

Not at all

1 in every 200 Americans have tested positive for covid, so I wouldn’t say people who don’t personally know someone who has tested positive is in the minority

Now we are taking semantics. I don’t “know” 200 people. I know of that many of course, but wouldn’t say I am personal with 200 people

ETA: I’m not saying it is fake. I’m just saying personally I know no one in my circle of friends/family that have had it

Lucky for you, I know 4 people in my circle who have had it or currently have it. Not pretty. I hope you, or someone you love, do not get it.

Do you mean personally or in real life because you have a fake life too?

I don’t know anyone that has tested positive. I have heard of people that other people know that have tested positive, but still a couple degrees of separation.

Nothing suspicious about that...

No shite, obviously the damn libs created LSU message board profiles 10 years ago and posted thousands of times all so no one would suspect them spreading misinformation about a disease in 2020.

Wife and I had it we were asymptomatic. The only reason we found out is because she fell down a walking path and cut her head and it required 6 stitches. It is hospital policy to test all patients that have to stay in the hospital and we would not have known we had it otherwise.

Yesterday I found out a lady my parents are friends with at church here in Ruston has it. That was the first one I know.
