Been drinking Wild Turkey most of my life but never cold

I get my weed second hand from the cows who have been eating it all their life.

I've been subject to random drug testing forever, at work we all say that once we retire we're going to have a big pot party, now that the time has arrived it doesn't seem appealing anymore

my best friend worked his arse off for 30 years, built up a small business empire and is very wealthy - multiple houses, ranch, jets type wealthy. He smokes every day now - it's just his thing instead of drinking cocktails or wine every day like many would do in his shoes. He also works out every day, just to be clear. He likes the buzz and also the lack of a hangover.

This.

I have a job, even though I don't like it, that takes care of me and pays me well, so I'm doing well for myself. I'm not 100% perfect, but I think my life is going well atm. And not every day but a lot of times I like to unwind at the end of the day with a glass of wine and/or blunt and just chill. Some family and friends will call me a pothead and/or alcoholic because I do that, but to me, it's what helps me relax and is an exclamation point to my day. So agree to disagree.

A gummy at night, a couple times a week, helps me sleep like a baby.

Similarly, I have a friend couple in which the husband owns an oilfield supply company and the wife owns her architectural firm. They’ll net >1M this year and they’re daily smokers.

True

Bigger question is "can you stop completely, if you wanted?"

Lots say yes but it's BS

Great. For every person like this, there are literally hundreds of loser pot heads, so I don’t get your point.

I love weed and generally smoke a bit every night but i don’t find it difficult to quit whatsoever

I stopped cold turkey a couple weeks ago because I’m in the job market and hardly think about it.

Weed is addictive and it can definitely help keep somebody from achieving their goals. Still one of the best drugs

laughed really hard.

You can pick a number of things that prevent someone from achieving their goals.

Your comment is also why alcohol is so so amazing. Never gets any credit and does more damage than all the other druges combined.
