I'm pointing out that he didn't comply at first like yall are claiming. Did't say he couldn't do that.

I'm justifying this situation based on what's going in this country.

Never have I justified everything cops do.

Check points are against our fricking rights as citizens. They target white males around college campuses. But as a citizen, you shouldn't drink and drive should you?

So, I disagree with the tactics, but I understand why they do it. Other than a money grab. They are trying to get drunks off the roads.

Fine, ask for his ID instead of immediately ordering him To stand up and to put his hands on the car.

So he's on probation because cops ruined his life? Or did he ruin it before this encounter?

Ah yes, the standard justify the officer's incompetence because the civilian was a bad person and deserved it.

At least this man held a job and was only on probation. Hopefully he is straightening out his life. He's actually concerned about losing his job..

Sometimes I am almost against the war on drugs. But that's a whole other debate and I'm really not sure how I feel on it. I think it depends upon the drugs.. but I'm not going to get into that. I don't have enough of a position.

he said he just came back from seeing his probation officer, which means he knows he does not have any warrants.

he said this after he refused to get out of car and retreated and was fully resisting.

So you just ignore his previous comments? And ignore that he jumped back in the car when told to put his hands on the car (which isn't arresting him BTW)?

If not ignoring the whole situation makes me a troll, so be it.

frick that. I don't want to know. I want to be able to say later that I didn't know why. I confirmed I was being arrested and I SHUT THE frick UP - which is what every American should do. Cooperate only for your own safety and comfort. Do not say anything. Merely talking while under arrest can lead to lots of extra charges. Just don't do it until you talk to a lawyer.

They either have you or they don't. Don't make it easier on them.

You mean 3 guys. And yes they do as does their supervisor who saw this footage and/or didn't bother to watch it.

What do you think the cops intended after he put his hands on the car?

A: frick him from behind
B: cuff him

Can you confirm if there is a law that says they have to tell you why they're arresting you. I've asked several times and haven't seen an answer.

Your argument for the kid's action hinge on you saying he was being "arrested" for no reason. The words matter.

Yep. The cop says they asked him for his ID four times and keep repeating that it's all on video. It's almost as if he truly believes he asked Patrick for his ID four times And there are still people who don't understand why some people don't always give Police the benefit of the doubt . Because they're always so honest and never cover-up for mistakes.

what comments: "why are you asking?" i'm pretty sure that was all he said before going "umm Patrick" maybe another one syllable word.

after he retreated in to the car the situation had devolved and I get what they did I guess. But it was their fault for letting it get to that point from the way they handled it at the beginning. I get cops have a hard job, but this wasn't a situation where they handled themselves well at all and they should be able to do better with even minimal training.
