Facebook is toxic, Twitter is toxic, and majority of news is toxic. You have a smartphone for emergencies. Bad shite happens when guns and people are involved. Murder has been around since Caine and Abel. Bad shite happens don’t flood your brain with it daily.

I have zero social media and don’t look at the news. This site is my only window to the world. That’s WHY IM fricking buying grenades and getting ready for the end. Whens it going down?

I give up Facebook and Instagram for a couple months a year. Usually takes a couple weeks for me to stop instinctively reaching for my phone everything I'm the least bit bored.

I took the Facebook app off my phone about a year ago.
Guess what? Nothing bad happened.

I got rid of FB almost 10 years ago and I haven't looked back. TD is really the only form of social media that I utilize today.

The toxicity of social media isn’t even the worst problem. Smart phones and their apps are designed to be as addictive as possible. They’re a total time sink and get in between people who could have more meaningful relationships.
Hell, my wife and I were in the middle of a good conversation once our kids went to bed last night and it died once our phones came out. We were just sitting there on the couch in silence with led screens in our faces. It’s sad.

Even better is get your kids off of them and not give them pocket computers with access to the entire world at young ages. You’d be amazed at how much yours and their lives will improve as well as society’s.

Yeah, TD reels me in sometimes still, but no news and Facebook has been a Godsend. Much happier without it. I never Tweeted nor do I ever plan to.
