I pride myself on ability to steer left wheels into carwash.

Maybe it’s a complex from my youth I haven’t figured out yet... maybe it’s my dad ripping me for not backing the boat in correctly....
But there’s something about flying into a Benny’s type or BlueWave with the attendant giving positive gestures with no correction as you drive the left wheel side confidently and swiftly.
I also like to let the car ahead get 2-3 sections in front before moving; drives the employees wild. Like their life depends on getting you in directly behind the last car. I respect that just not going to do it.

Now that you bring it up, I’m damn proud of my ability to do this as well. Thank you for bringing awareness to this matter.

It crushes my soul when the Take 5 Oil Change guy gestures left or right. I feel like a total failure for 15 seconds. Then he brings me a diet coke and I forget it.

Do they drop panties for this?

What special kind of stupid are you to think being able to put a tire on a spot is a special skill?
Posted on 5/29/21 at 10:14 pm to Nephropidae
I went 6 times in a row once with no correction.
You’d have thought I lost game 7 of the World Series the way my wife huffed and puffed when I had to make a minor right correction on the 7th time.

Personally, I think any way you slice it, being able to hit the right spot is a special skill.
I mean, your wife certainly thinks so.

Lol that is extremely easy to do… try driving a 2500 truck into a car lift and be center on the first try

Drifting around a roundabout or parallel parking by sliding in is a special skill, the awareness of where your tires are in relation to the car itself is just a mundane part of being able to properly drive a car. This is some participation trophy level self-praise.

Yeah or try driving a RTCH onto a lowboy... That shite is a skill.

You stole my thread
My sincere apologies if you have already talked about left wheel alignment confidence at car washes.
