I couldn't imagine having an $1100 vehicle note

I’ve been wanting to get my son a mid sized to smaller truck for a while now. It’s time to get more serious, but don’t want to pay more than about $18k. Still not a lot worth looking at right now

We are going to have to buy my wife another car this year because the youngest will get her license this summer and we are giving her my wife's car. Not really looking forward to it. Hopefully the market will cool some more over the next 5-6 months.

This is what I need to happen.
If trucks don’t cool down with pricing, the little turd is going to end up with a small suv/crossover or even an Accord/Camry

i think cars and crossovers will go down a good bit but truck prices will decline at a much, much lower rate

Trucks are nuts. I drive a 6 yr old F150 but I'm not planning on replacing it anytime soon. They are selling for 50-60% more than I paid for mine right now.

Mine is getting a 10 yr old Accord. Pretty low mileage though. I figure if she messes it up I won't be out much. I'll get her something a little bit newer before college most likely

Why would you get rid of a paid off vehicle that is not that old?

Minivan has always been the way to go. Great vehicles that offer low entrance price, high gas mileage, plenty of room and very diverse in what they can do.

Something isn't right. I just did my truck on the same website 2018 F-150 Platinum with 74,000 miles and it is saying it is worth 33,000 in good condition.

You paid $40k cash last year for a used vehicle you don't want?

Who cares what the resale value is? You're a baller, just park it somewhere with the keys in it, and go buy you another used vehicle you don't want.

Top trim levels go for $55,000-$58,000 when talking about the Odyssey and Sienna.

3 kids?? A minivan is the way to go. Anyone saying otherwise hasn't owned one. Not to mention they are considerably cheaper with more family utility.
