Since prices have skyrocketed, we eat at home alot more. I've lost alot of weight. Somehow my wife is still gaining. Don't really understand that, but I'm more active than she is. It also costs a hell of a lot less.

If I needed to, I could live for a lot cheaper off of _______ fried rice.

If you buy mostly raw ingredients like meat, flour, vegetables etc your food budget can remain low no matter where you shop.
Most Definitely.
My Chrome Browser has a favorites folder with links to Winn Dixie, Albertsons and Rouses Weekly Ads. It's part of my Thursday Morning routine to peruse those(the sales run Thursday-Wednesday).
The Deals on Beef, Pork, and Chicken are often far better than Walmart Prices for better quality meats.
We gonna get through this shite.

ALDIs is legit
I am looking forward to chicken breasts for $2.29/lb year round.
Hard to find the chicken breast deals we saw 6 months ago(Albertson and Rouses had them for $1.47/lb).
$2.99/lb is about the best you see these days unless you go to shite like Shoppers Value.

She’s going to have cancer all over her body in a year from eating of those nasty processed foods

I shop around for our meats. Sometimes Costco, Heleaux’s in Lafayette and fresh market for their ground beef and chicken special on Tuesday. Husband is back and forth to Houston so we get HEB or Kroger meats every once in a while. Other than that ALDI fits the bill for nearly everything. Their produce is always very fair priced and fresh. Their breads, cured meats, milk, dips are all great. I am usually shocked at what 100$ will get. I think the most I’ve ever spent was 150$ and that included wine.

You mean quality?
I didn't buy because I didn't need any... Let me know your opinion because I might stay away..

There are long term heath costs associated with eating nothing but cheap carbs.

This is the most broadly misunderstood thing about grocery stores. Walmart is mostly less expensive on processed garbage, and then only if you always buy Great Value. But for those of us that eat right, the value proposition of Walmart often isn’t worth standing in a 30 person line at self checkout.

Aldi's bought out Winn Dixie.

For the love of God, stop making topics about fricking Tik tok. You have serious issues.

So try this for a good quick meal. Get you some deli sliced meats for the meat then a can of cranberry sauce for the dressing …cheap so far…then fix a box of Stove Top dressing and a box of Rice a Roni…a quick cheap meal that is filling and tastes great!
