Use PhD at the end of your name. It is more classy. Also, it will keep airlines from mistaking you for a medical doctor. You do not want that, please come see request.
FYI, use Dr. in from front of you name when talking to politicians or getting an appointment with physicians.

Thank you. It's been a long ride but with a few publications and a couple patent applications still pending, it feels good to be done.
ETA: I don't actually want a name change on here, it simply provided a means to brag about getting done today in a manner proven to rankle the OT feathers
