The best thing I did was make a schedule for myself.
Someone said "your new job is finding a job" which is true but wont occupy 8hrs a day if you're in a professional field where cold knocking on doors and dropping resumes isnt really beneficial. After the first few days of identifying the open positions in your area you will run out of things to do looking for a job so coming up with a daily and weekly schedule that includes chores around the house was something that kept me on task and gave me a sense of purpose and pride. I'll tell you, the 3 months I was out of work my yard looked awesome and the house was the cleanest it had been ever.

Update your LinkedIn profile to read "Seeking Next Opportunity" or similar. If you are going to post for advice on here you are probably not going to get any but if you advise your city of residence (Atlanta?), Industry and Job Title, you never know. I have been there and bounced back. Like the other poster said, blast your resume all over. Finding a job is the hardest job but it pays the most once you land the next one since you are starting at zero. Good Luck!

All joking aside, the simple fact that you hate the feeling of being unemployed should be encouraging.
Too many people are lazy. Too many people think society owes them something.
Not you. You are going to update your résumé and make someone at a new company really glad you showed up on their short list when you did.
Go get 'em, dude (on Monday, of course).

It was one of those unfortunate situations in which my manager and I didn’t get along. She isn’t respected or liked by anyone in the department but that’s beside the point. I respectfully voiced my concerns and potential solutions on how to improve our working relationship during one of our 1on1 meetings.
Instead of taking my constructive feedback in stride, she went on a witch hunt (yes I know okay Trump) to get me out of the building. She got me on punctuality. I was late one morning due to a wreck on 75 and she asked me what time I arrived. I said “around 9 or so.” She pulled my badge times and the official swipe in was 9:24. Apparently that was enough to get me canned for integrity.
I’m not going to sit here and badmouth her but rather take it as a lesson to a) just keep my mouth shut even if things need to be said, and b) just freaking be on time.
I feel lower than I’ve ever felt before, but there is nothing I can do. It is what it is.

This is terrible advice mixed with great advice, and in that order. If it happened like you said it did, don’t stop trying to improve working relationships, but just Ben in time. Or at worst, call ahead to let them know you’re running late.
Also, there has to be more than you being late one day

“Distribution” of what? Which specific industry?
There is a relatively new job posting site called Vettery that you may want to explore.

Get your resume together and bring a friend to the interview. LINK

Sorry to hear this. You need to start moving forward. Have a plan and schedule every day.
You have work to do each day and that's developing your strategy for finding your next job and working at it each day.
You will find another job.

Having a woman boss
Yikes
This is why I work in the oilfield. No women allowed

I know how you feel and it does suck, but it gets better. The obvious first thing you should do is update your resume and start applying to jobs.
You'll get some callbacks for interviews and then for an extended period of time, a few weeks to a few months, you'll won't hear anything back from employers. And then BAM! You'll have interviews out the wazoo and then some job offers. I was in your boat last year and that was my experience.
In the interim, if you have the means, take a vacation. Nothing extravagant, something more of a weekend getaway plus a day or two. And like someone said on here, make a daily and/or weekly schedule. Just don't sit on the couch and watch Netflix.

You need a week or so to let your mind recover. Watch UT get drummed in the tournament. Drink a few beers. Then punt and try again.
