While I won’t get into specifics why, it fricking sucks and I’m very down on myself. I can’t sleep tonight.

Any suggestions what to do?

ETA: well duh look for another job. Talking about in the interim.

File for some unemployment until you find a new job. If you have any viable skills, it shouldn’t be hard to start working again, sooner than later.

Take a day or two, drink some beers, watch some basketball while surfing the web for jobs. Not going to be a whole lot you can do over the weekend except prep a resume. Do that.

Then on Monday, start sending that fricker everywhere you can. Lean on family and friends and tell them to put the word out. I’ve been in your shoes. It’s a shitty feeling, one I wouldn’t wish on anyone. You’ll be depressed until you find another job, but don’t rush it or you’ll end up at one you hate and stay in your depression. It might wipe out some of your savings, but it will be worth it if you take your time and find a good one.

ETA: dip into unemployment if you have to to keep you somewhat afloat

I hear Walmart is looking for qualified return processors.

Sorry, low hanging fruit. I feel for you, hang in there.

Outside of finding a new job which is obvious, try to find a hobby you like and have some fun with it. Life is too short to be miserable so might as well make the best of it right? You'll find a new job.

Trust me I know what you're going through. In the past 4 years since I graduated, I've had 5 different jobs so I understand. You'll be alright.

Smoke a blunt, relax, and be happy that you don’t have to get drug tested right now
