Life's a gamble and there are no guarantees. Talk it over with the wife, pray about it and do what you feel is best for your family. Good luck brother!

The current job offers health insurance to me 100% of the cost, none to my family unless I pay for it ($900 a month) it offers no company vehicle, no gas compensation and no 401k or retirement options. I also work on average about 60-65 hours a week.
That's called slavery. Leave that crap immediately.

I never understood threads like this, unless you’re just legitimately bored.
You’re going to ask a group of strangers (who Engage in general frickery on every topic, and rightly so)
Be an adult, weight the pros and cons, if you still can’t make a decision ask those close to you.

The client won't know who he is unless he's the primary account manager. It won't matter. Just more manpower that comes and goes.

I've kicked a hornet's nest within my current company and I'm sure they will come with an offer I can't refuse.
What would the OT do?
Wait for the offer?
Leave no matter what?
Leave no matter what. You may not have burn/blown up the bridge but the charges have definitely been set.

I have. I did.
Maybe I feel the OT is like family.
Talks a bunch of shite, but still gives sound advise.

That's very true at this point.

My wife said the same. Sometimes it's hard to realize what a shitty situation you're in. Outside perspective is truly a blessing

I'm not important. But, I would have never been offered this new position without having worked on the projects that I've worked on.
Sometimes you have to take a step back in your profession to take a leap forward

After you’ve accepted a new job, you never go back.
The new company won’t trust you again, and your current employer will resent you.

IMHO, life's too short to work that much, especially for someone else.

Time! You can't get it back, ever. Current is working you 65 hrs, and new will basically be 70% of that. Just the reduced hrs is a 30% raise on your per hr week, before you add in the actual higher base. Vehicle etc.
NO BRAINER.
Also, when current gut offers more, you have to discuss the other issues and be ready for their counter proposal (if it comes).

In addition to a significant bump in money the time you get for your family is worth a lot.
I would pile up some savings equal to a years worth of salary if your other financial cards are in order and have a lot of peace of mind if anything goes south. Should be easy to do considering with the increased income and reduced expenses.

Take the new job for the many reasons stated above. Overall quality of life, including your health, will improve too.
Thank your current employer for the opportunity and don't look back. Don't burn bridges because your paths will cross again.

does VERY high end for very influential people.
This doesn’t mean shite other than you’re some rich peoples bitch
Go to the job with better pay, better benefits, and less work/stress.
Working for influential people sounds cool but the reality is they’ll never elevate you. They don’t give a shite about you.
