Tell them no problem, and you'll wire them the money as soon as Prince Mutimbo of Alla Babba deposits that $10 million into your account.

Some of the calls on youtube are pretty darn funny.

The best thing to do is to figure out a western union # and give it to them, I don't know how they do their wire numbers like in how many digits and what not. But the best thing is to give them a fake number and have them go somewhere and try to retrieve the money. It becomes a huge waste of time for them.

Yeah I really want to f with them.
I pretend to follow their instructions for 10 minutes or so while acting like I'm the stupidest person in the world. I've actually had them cuss me out when they realize I'm screwing with them.

I did. I called them back so many times messing with them that the guy cursed me out and my number was blocked. It was glorious.
My favorite was when "Steve" from India answered and I did an Apu impression and told him he needed to send me money.
They are quite touchy for phone scammers.

Yes. In laws have an elderly relative who was duped out of life savings by scams like this.

One of my buddies came home one day to an IRS Agent standing in his driveway

I'm going to jail if I don't wire them money, huh?
I love some of these scams. For a while I was getting calls from the "Government Department of Treasury and Grants". The callers said that, every year, the government randomly chooses a few thousand people around the country who have not been involved in any criminal activity and who "pay their bills" and gives them a grant of a few thousand dollars, and that, miraculously, I had been chosen for a grant! The amounts I was supposedly going to receive varied from call to call from around $3000 to around $7000. The funniest part was that they said one of the ways my grant money could be paid to me was with a Wal-Mart gift card! They were careful to point out, though, that I would not be allowed to use the money for any "illegal" activity, including gambling in a casino. When I pointed out that gambling in a casino is not illegal and asked why I would not be able to use the money for that, they had no answer.
Their next step was to "verify that you are actually the correct person" to receive the grant. This consisted of a series of leading questions, to which I was to answer "yes" or "no" (e.g. "Is your name ____?", "Is your address ____?"). I pointed out to them that this was not an effective way to verify my identity because anyone could simply answer "yes" to all of the questions. I suggested that, since they were calling from a U.S. government office (and caller ID did show a 202 area code) and I was right here in downtown D.C., they could just give me the address of the government office where they were and I could run over and show them my ID and they could just give me my check. Shockingly, that plan didn't appeal to them.
After a few calls, they stopped calling.

One who called me said that he was "in charge for security for the internet". I said "Wow, really? The whole internet?" Without hesitation, he said "yes". I laughed and hung up.

My parents got a scam call about my nephew being stuck in France, and he needed money to get home... Instead of calling anyone and finding out if he was even out of town, they almost wired money... I told them he wasn't out of town that it was a bullshite scam... They finally believed me...
What's crazy is, how do they get my parents with their grandson's names in a scam together...?
Facebook.

The last time that I got one of those calls, I just said, "Jamal Malik...I've always wanted to tell you how great you were in Slumdog Millionaire."
