Would be cheaper to widen the driveway.

A quick search on a bunch of compact crossovers on Wikipedia...not finding anything less than 70". She needs a car.

Not gonna happen, Chevy Trax and Subaru XV are the narrowest with similar clearance and they are both ~70" wide. Smart cars are 65" which would give her smaller width, but less than half the clearance.

how close are her neighbors? Can she get the driveway widened without encroaching on any property lines? If so, I'd go that route instead of shopping for a new, skinny car.
