We did a date night Friday.
Was really nice.
My husband is helpful....but it’s not HIS family you know? Not blood relatives to him at least. When I mean alone....I mean blood relations helping me out.

Anyways....my point is that I can understand not being in the Christmas spirit. Some people have a legit reason why.
If you aren’t one of those people...maybe just be grateful life currently hasn’t given you a legit reason to struggle with the holidays.

My dad died of cancer on Sept 27th.....so yea, I get not being excited for Christmas. I feel for ya nurse.

I've got a lot on my plate right now, so I'm definitely using Christmas as a way to boost my mood. Fun Christmas movies, music and wrapping presents is helping. Thank God for Amazon for making shopping so easy.

I really dislike christmas too. Growing up, christmas was usually a disaster. Some of my worst memories of my life are on christmas or the day before. Mainly b.c my father would get really drunk. All year really, but his antics at christmas would usually spoil a good time.
When I was in my 20s, I just hated christmas. I still do, but instead of focusing on that my wife and I have made new traditions that I do enjoy.
