One time I was trying to reserve a hotel in Pittsburgh and it was totally booked up for a furry convention. This is how I found out about the furry world. Can’t imagine the filth in those hotel rooms after checkout.

We probably saw and remembered the same TV episode, The show was set in Las Vegas IIRC, and the furry-ness was central to the story.
Having lived in the French Quarter, it was a surprise that we really hadn't
"seen it all".
Of all the episodes of that crime show, that one remains memorable for how warped it was (and that didn't even go into the sexual side of it, or if it did, it went over my head.)
