ETA: in some semblance of normalcy... the governing body ruled that game a forfeit with the team having COVID given a L while the team which was ready to play granted a W

Yeah despite the poli boards insistence it was a hoax it was actually still a virus and is still going around. Had to cancel a work appointment last week because of it.

The common cold is a corona virus. Most people who "have a cold" don't really. The actual virus will kick your arse. CoVID is essentially a new common cold.

No it isn’t. They aren’t even in the same order, much less family. It always amuses me when people flat out make shite up and run with it as a definitive truth.

Caught a nasty bout of the Vid this week. I’ve had a 103° fever for the past 3 days. All food and drink tastes like shite. Supposedly a new strand is going around?

Wait. This can’t be. We were told it’s only the sniffles.

You must have had something else.

The Connection to Coronaviruses

Common Human Coronaviruses: Four specific types of coronaviruses (such as 229E, NL63, OC43, and HKU1) are known to circulate widely in humans and commonly cause mild upper-respiratory illnesses, or the common cold.

Not COVID-19: These seasonal cold-causing coronaviruses are entirely different from SARS-CoV-2, the specific coronavirus that causes COVID-19.

We should shut down the national, arrest people going in public and prevent travel.

This is the way.

Don't forget to mask up while not seated in restaurants. Also, mail-in voting. Stay safe, fellas.
