Fwiw I completely believe you.. I was by the convention center today and this same thing happened to us twice.. the only difference is I wasn't driving.. they honestly don't give a frick

I've been driving since I was fourteen and I wasn't just but twenty years old when I realized that getting worked up over traffic, no matter how bad or annoying, will lead to nothing positive in life. People are shitty; nothing to be done about it. Just drive your drive.

This person was smart enough not to wait in a line in which there was no need. You were embarrassed that you wasted your time waiting in line and got mad at him.

My brother-in-law was giving me a lift to work one morning on his way to work. A little rice burner sped past us on the shoulder then pulls in front of us. Brother-in-law honks at the guy and he slams on his breaks. We slammed on ours but ended up tapping the guy on the bumper. Next thing you know, a big, no-neck Pacific Islander guy gets out and starts kicking the shite out of our car, broke the side mirror, and started punching the driver's side window. That's when my brother-in-law threw the car into reverse and got the hell out of there. He ended up going to the cop shop to file a report to cover his arse mainly because he was in a company car. Nothing came of it.

I've been very fortunate to not have any significant incidents in the 23 years that I've been driving. I've noticed that most of my friends that I consider to be 'high strung' seem to have more incidents and complain about all of the crazy drivers they encounter on the roads. Yet they honestly don't realize that they are at least partially contributing to the incidents.

One time me and my buddy were headed home from the gym, were about 17 and he was driving his brand new Ford Escape. There was an older black Pontiac firebird(like a 2000 model) that was all blacked out couldnt see in the windows or nothing and sounded like a log truck. He was in front of us on a long back road driving like 20 MPH and swerving so bad we couldnt pass him, I was being funny so I laid on the horn for about 30 seconds or so and he started stopping in the middle of the road opening his door so he floors it to pass him and when we get beside him he has a gun in his hand, we continue to take off going around 115 MPH and scared to death cause we could still hear his car just couldnt see it...we both pissed our pants.

This may be just a coincidence, but did this happen in Central LA? Ball, to be exact. When I was younger this exact story happened. As I remember the story, two road rage guys pull in to Paradise Gas Station, fight ensues, one beats the other shitless with a tire-iron, other crawls back to car, grabs gun, and guns other guy down. I know that in this story, too (if different), the shooter also went to jail.
