Still happy with your outdoor project? I thought I’d at least get an invite by now

Did you see my project on the home board recently? I added to it.

I'll ping you. I think I still have your contact info. You should at least stop by for a bourbon.

Somehow, these hipster 20 year olds are comfortably living in these houses walking their dogs and jogging all day everyday

they give nothing to charity,
they give nothing to the church
They give nothing to the poor and needy
they’re not saving a dime for retirement,
they’re not planning on having any kids and being fruitful in a marriage (because they both work, career over children)
you do those things and combined with how cheap money is and you can live in a pretty nice house on a pretty low salary

Bredesen was a Democrat but not the "insane" democrat like they all are now but he was the last good mayor Nashville had. He was pro-business and I give him props for the development happening now.

Karl Dean was pro business development as well and I’m fairly sure a closet republican.

Mayor now is an Oompa Loompa progressive extremist who ironically made his fortune on commercial real estate.

I live outside Chattanooga now and it’s wonderful. Come this way.

Doesn’t do anything for you unless you’re planning to leave the greater Nashville area. Most aren’t. So it just gets swallowed up by the new home price when you move.

This place is a nightmare and it isn't getting any better. Sadly, there are tons of people forced to leave because it's just getting too expensive. I walk by a few homes that are around 1400 sq/ft selling for $400k. THE frick?

not hard at all for a working couple to afford a 400k house these days

same with Coastal Carolina. New Yorkers are moving here. local normal NC small schools are so overflowing that they are renting trailers to have space for the influx. especially in Hampstead Topsail Island ares.

local teachers are saying the yankee NYer kids are spoiled mean girls on roids; and the raised in NC kids are like wtf as they never learned to be ugly to each other.

Wouldn't his property tax go through the roof due to perceived value increase? That'd make me super pissed.

right. Our lives are here so until we are empty nesters the value of our home is irrelevant because you have to live somewhere.

this is the lack of foresight i'm talking about. this isn't really a good thing for MOST people. if you're about to retire and move to florida or something, sure it's great.

They’re creating sustainable and high paying tech jobs with a highly educated and skilled workforce.

Then why are people leaving California?

Or deciding to live somewhere else because they can work remote? Guess those high paying jobs don’t pay enough.

Also, calis homeless population is the largest in the country. Affordable housing. All those nice jobs yet people shitting in the streets.

Sounds awesome.

Progressives aren't the ones doing this; it's the redneck tourists who get excited about seeing a deer.

Dont believe this. Neither of these states have the infrastructure to support the wants and desires of the locusts.

Trust me when i say that west coast liberals arent satisfied with safe areas, good schools, and low taxes. Its literally not enough for them. They demand to be catered to, hand and foot, and that will simply not happen in these 2 states. They may leave, briefly, but they always go back. Ffs, even Coeur d'alene is a conservative bastion.

Trust you? Haha. Do you live in ID or MT? If not, you can't be trusted.

Missoula and Bozeman are just two of the areas that are booming right now with development. Flathead Valley is also booming.

A personal state income tax would help.

No thanks. I moved here to save 5 figures a year in insurance and taxes. And property taxes are lower than LA too.

You know more than I do, but isn't it to the detriment of people already living there? I've heard that its very hard to find an affordable place to rent in Bozeman right now, much less buy.

Damn.

What I mean is if you'd like to stop people from moving to your state, do whatever Louisiana is doing.
