Is that the service they market to senior citizens at higher than normal prices for an mvno

I don’t even know what that is so I don’t think so. I thought I saw dumb phone on their offerings of phones if that’s what you’re talking about.

If it has “patriot” in the name, I generally avoid it.
And I’m fairly conservative.

Mint Mobile can do everything a big provider can do and for $15 per month. I left AT&T for Mint and there is no functional difference. Plus Ryan Reynolds' commercials are funny.
(Mint Mobile just got acquired by T Mobile, after Mint used the T Mobile network as an MVNO for years.)

Only if you buy the 5gb or 10 gb plans. Unlimited data is $15 per month.
Old people don't use 5gb in data.

The ad I heard says they decrease speed after x amount of gigs in the unlimited

I just looked, unlimited gets throttled above 40 gb.

At&t and Verizon both have throttle limit in their unlimited contracts. They only throttle if the tower your using is overloaded.

US Mobile is the answer. Pick from all three major networks at substantial savings. Better customer service too.
Verizon (they call it warp) isn’t deprioritized like most MVNOs. You can pay extra to stay prioritized on ATT.

40 gb not much??? What are you doing on your phone?

We're in north Texas and her service is hit it miss here. She was in Choctaw, OK last week and had no service at all. Which is surprising since it's almost OKC. I'd avoid the service. We're trying to get her to switch back to one of our plans instead.
