I don't understand the Zero bar

The Zero bar is that painting in your house, you used to stare at as a kid but now you literally don't even know it's there. It's right there, next to the Snickers and M&M's on every candy aisle. But most people don't even notice it. Like they haven't even heard of it even though it's right there. I've never met anyone who likes it. I've never seen a commerical or any advertisement for it. Never heard anyone talk about it at all, positive or negative. It's just there. Wiki says it's been there since 1920.
I tried it once and I thought it was a terrible candy bar. It's nougat covered in white chocolate. The taste combination is weird and the gooey + crumbly texture doesn't work at all. Apparently I'm not alone, wiki also says it was deemed the "worst candy bar in the world" in 2020 candy bracket.
Is there some stereotype, a demographic of people I don't know about who eat Zero bars? Is it money laundering? I don't know. But something doesn't add up.

It's a damned fine candy bar. I hadn't thought about them in a while, but I think I'll get one tomorrow. PayDay's are good too.

Nah. Mounds is just coconut, everyone either loves it or hates it. I like coconut so I like it, my wife doesn't like coconut so she doesn't.

I've had one once or twice. The first time was as an adult. I was hungry and saw it in a vending machine that was pretty much out of anything good. I decided to take a flyer on it, and was pleasantly surprised.
