Only a true moron thinks that any of that is legal anywhere. Congrats.
Except for sex with myself. If that's wrong then I dont wanna be right.

So you mean to tell me that Auburn and Tuscaloosa are completely against selling beer and wine in their football venues, but they're fine with their meth-loving population have sex with themselves, family members, animals, haystacks, telephone poles, their houses/trailers, etc? I of course am a Louisiana man, and while I agree Louisiana is a shithole, it ain't worse than Alabama. I can fricking promise you that.
We had a discussion about this at breakfast this morning (we have a big group that meet up on Saturdays). There are logistics to work out with the addition of alcohol sales at the stadium and i'm sure it is more about making sure their liability is covered more than not selling and making money.

It’s a moot issue. Once Alabama schools see the money being made elsewhere, they’ll add beer sales.

1. They aren't considered venues; they are religious shrines of respect.

Laughing. There's a lot of Catholics true, but you are FOS on the other part. There are huge Baptist churches in Mobile, look no further than Dauphin and I65 at what the Comic Cowboys call Fort God LOL.
There are far more Methodists, Baptists, and non Denominational churches in the Mobile area than any Episcopalian/Presbyterians.

What do you expect from a state that makes you go into a separate store from the regular stores to by hard liquor

Yeah that's pretty stupid and here's something equally as stupid. A fricking drive thru daiquiri shop.
I live in Louisiana and have done so for many years and we all delusionally believe the appeal of our state (especially in south Louisiana) extends past easy attitudes about drinking and drug use. Tourists don't give a shite about "Louisiana culture", they come here to get fricked up without being fricked with.
The only reason people visit this 3rd world state we call Louisiana is because we pretty much don't give a shite about what they do when they're here.

You would be very wrong, especially when it comes to international tourist.

Louisiana has the Food and the Fishing. Other than that we suck.

Alabama has food and fishing. Texas has food and fishing. Mississippi has food and fishing. Georgia has food and fishing. Florida has food and fishing.
We're not unique in the "food and fishing" department.

They have the food and they have the fishing. They just go full retard on how to cook it. Especially Florida. Bland as frick. And I'm not talking about it being spicy. Just piss poor on the seasoning and the taste.

Louisianians believe if it's not over fried, salty as a mineral block or smothered in a spicy cream sauce, it sucks.
I actually think the florida style of frying seafood for instance is a thousand times better than Louisiana. They lightly dust and lightly season before they fry. In Louisiana, it's over season, thickly coat and fry until it's chewy.
You know why people like middendorfs catfish so much? Because it's more akin to the florida style than lousiana.
If people want Louisiana style cuisine, it can be found anywhere in the southeast.

No we don't live in a shithole, so let's reframe it.
Let's not think of Louisiana as the very worst state in the US. Let's think of it as one of the more progressive countries in the Caribbean.
I feel better about home already.

Well then by all means, beg to differ.
But there is absolutely nothing about the so called "food and fishing" in Louisiana that makes it so much more a cut above the rest of the coastal southeast, that we can tout it as special.
A shrimp poboy, beans and rice, fried catfish in a spicy cream sauce and a 25 fish limit on specks ain't that big of a frickin' deal.
When it comes to comparing Louisiana to other coastal southeastern states, hanging on to "food and fishing" is pretty pathetic. If that's all we have then we don't have jackshit.
Oh i forgot. We boil crawfish but so does texas, Mississippi and alabama.

They aren’t against it. Both schools have liquor lockers in their club/suite levels that donors have paid a pretty penny to have. This would devalue their donations instantly.
