So you mean to tell me that Auburn and Tuscaloosa are completely against selling beer and wine in their football venues, but they're fine with their meth-loving population have sex with themselves, family members, animals, haystacks, telephone poles, their houses/trailers, etc? I of course am a Louisiana man, and while I agree Louisiana is a shithole, it ain't worse than Alabama. I can fricking promise you that.

Your state legislature recently voted down a bill that would outlaw beastiality.

I've lived in alabama and Louisiana. Louisiana is a 3rd world country compared to Alabama and i've lived in Louisiana now for 25 years.

In today's world that is seen as progressive. Love who you love.

Alabama is most conservative baptist. It's like North Louisiana.

They don't like the government or any type of laws telling them what to do except when it comes to their religious beliefs.

That's all you really have to understand.

South Alabama is, but north Alabama is certainly not.

They don't want the government to tell them what to do, but they do want the government to tell everyone else what to do.

Louisiana not legalizing sports gambling should make Louisiana a laughing stock too, so we do have that going for us.

No sir. If you are referring to the Mobile area and the Gulf Coast as "South Alabama", then it is most certainly not. It's a very Catholic area. And the Protestants are usually Episcopal/Presbyterian more than Baptist.

I'm not. Mobile and the surrounding area is it's own critter, for the reasons you stated. I'm talking south of B'Ham to Mobile, including the lovely city of Montgomery.

You have no idea what you’re talking about. No one has ever wheeled you out of Louisiana

This is like trying to argue which piece of shite smells the worst. Even if you think one is better than the other, it’s still pretty close. Louisiana has a slightly higher education ranking but Alabama has a slightly lower crime rate. Btw neither state is in the top 15 for drug usage including meth.

This isn’t too far from what many on the West coast and NE say about hardcore Red states as a whole.
