It would be ok if she laughed while saying it but the way she says "what's a computer" with a straight face just makes her look smug. The rest of the commercial is good.

When I see a commercial, I just look to see what they do to target their audience. In the case of the commercial you are referring to, I just see it as apple saying "our devices are not what people think of when they use to say computers".
Like if you would say to a kid today "do you like that typewriter you are using?".. More than likely the kid will ask "what the frick is a typewriter?"
