All joking aside, these stories come up from time to time, and it always appears the porn industry is horribly rough on the women, physically, mentally, and emotionally.
One of the local mega churches around here used to do a ministry to the local strip clubs, they would take food and other items to the women and gently try to encourage them to see other professions. I don't know how effective it was or is.

Porn is a rough business. Few women in the biz are well enough adjusted to go into the biz. You have some like Nina Hartley, Shayla LaVeaux, Lisa Ann, Julia Ann who are well-adjusted veteran performers. But so many who enter the biz disappear to never be seen again. The money they make is fleeting. Jenna Jameson isn't living that well n her post-porn career.
You are better off going away like Juli Ashton or Nikki Dial when you are on top and never appearing again.
There should be some mandatory psychological evaluation of women who enter the biz.
