I would curl up in the corner and die if I was this parent, I'm thankful this hasn't happened in my family.

News Story & Brief Interview
I thought some might be interested in an update. Your thoughts and prayers are very appreciated. Thank you all.
Treatment completed at Emory, back to Mississippi. Ringing the bell was an emotional moment. Now all we can do is wait.

I know this family as well. Stuff like this hits close to home. Especially with young children of my own

frick man, that hit me hard.
Hard to go through that video without getting choked up. As a parent, I couldn't even imagine. Makes me cry just to think about it.
That girl is brave. Pulling for you, Sophia.

Its stories like this that make me question my faith. Why would a god allow sweet innocent children to suffer like that.
Being a father myself, these stories shake me a little.
Prayers to that little princess and her family.

No words for what they are dealing with.
The company I work for has a drug that treats nueroblastoma and talking to the research scientists is soul splitting.
The drug would outright kill adults and the whole idea is to basically take the kid to the point of death with the highest dose they can possibly tolerate.
The amount of pain these kids have to tolerate makes you question a lot of things, but the survival rate is more than double other therapies so as a parent you have to decide between certain death of a toddler or infant or what would be considered a terrible form of torture in any other situation.
Watching these kids and parents talk about their situations will change your entire life.

Yeah that would be an absolute nightmare watching your child suffer that much more because of the treatment, and on the other side you can't just give up and have to hang on to any glimmer of hope. Just awful.

On the downvote thing
With bad news people will dowvote cause an up vote seems out of place .
Same reason FB created option on the "like" menu
