Think of all the dumb mistakes you will avoid by not being drunk.

They will have to actually wrote you a prescription to give blood as often as you will need to. My cousin has the same thing and he drinks when he wants, but not much. He smokes that dope though.

It's not a death sentence, but you'll just have to make a few changes.

Can you tell me more about that? I guess I'm going to blow my deductible anyhow but I'd love to save $2 grand if I can by getting an exemption. I took the healthy single guy plan after wasting money last year on the lower ded. One

Alcohol is a shitty drug anyway. Thankfully for you there are better alternatives.

Sure, given that your blood is viable for donation, a Dr. has the ability to give you an exemption to donate more times than a regular person.
Regular folks can usually only donate once every 8 weeks; I believe.
Then, you go down to your local blood bank with the prescription and start giving.

Welp, there goes your PT popularity. The obvious drunk posting had quite a following.

I have the same problem. My ferritin level was 650 before I started giving blood. Got a prescription from a hematologist to allow me give blood every other week. I gave it 4 times in 2 months and my ferritin is down to 300. The doctor said get it down to 100 and then give once or twice a year to keep it in check. And red wine was the only alcohol he asked if I drank because it is so high in iron. You don't need to give up beer if you just sac up and give blood.
