I asked AI why Youtube car / truck comparison videos won’t pick winners and losers

I dumped some links for videos from Savagegeese, TFL Truck, etc. into Copilot and asked for summaries.

Despite their being clear winners and losers based on comments and scores in the videos (which AI can analyze), in the end they all say something like ‘It depends what you want’

1 - They don’t want to alienate fans of a particular brand and have them stop watching

2 - They want viewers to fight it out in the comments section for more clicks

3 - They don’t want to sour relationships with manufacturers who loan them vehicles, invite them to launch events and track days, etc.

So there you go.

I was being sarcastic but now I feel like an a-hole based on your response.

It obviously does come down to personal preference as well

Different vehicles work for different lifestyles even within the same market category

That is true.

A counterpoint: In one specific off road focused test one channel compared a Tremor to a Silverado. The Tremor won almost everything category for that test. At then end? ‘Well, the winner depends on what you want’

I was having it summarize release videos for the new GMC so that I didn’t have to watch them (most all videos were fluff) and went down the rabbit hole.
