I am watching a concert from 1996 and remembering how in 2020 I was envious of the crowd

Found the clip originally while the world was shutdown in 2020, remember thinking how innocent and lucky those 1996 people were. And now we are doing that stuff again. But I also don’t want to re-watch the concert much and lose the nostalgia of when I found it in 2020.

All of us lived in an interesting time. And time never stops marching. Even now reading this you are closer to the finale. The hourglass is such a perfect symbol, and it is undefeated. Which is freeing, if you think about it.

The concert was KISS Live in Brooklyn 1996. FWIW

You're not even going to provide a link?

I re-watch the Nine Inch Nail performance from Woodstock '94 every 5 years or so. THe one where they where Trent was covered in mud along with the crowd. Fantastic live performance and NIN at their peak.

To bad the music is so depressing ...

Nonsense. Just don't flip it back over.

I was watching The Goo Goo Dolls 2004 rain concert in Buffalo. Everyone was so united, American flags flying in the crowds, no phones, just everyone living in the moment. Even one of the softer bands could get a crowd together in the rain, enjoying the moment.

This would have been a concert to be at.

RATN Woodstock 99

Actually Woodstock 99 had a bunch of problems and it would have sucked to have to go through all of the shite to be able to watch them, but if you could have been flown in and dropped off in the middle of the crowd about 1.5 before and then picked up and flew you out right after it would have been bad arse.
