France
North China
A lot of scholarly work linking it to China has been done over the past 30 years. China, has of course, fought back on that idea with considerable effort.
We will never know for sure.

Even without the Spanish Flu 14 of the 20 on that charted originated in China

That doesn't say how it got out of China. A country with a minimal role in the war.

Does it really surprise you that the country with the largest population is where many plagues and epidemics originate?
In the cities there people are on top of each other. Its the perfect environment for shite to spread.
