wrong, so your saying there is no chance a random sample of 367 people will NOT contain at least one match..wrong
in fact you could take a random smaple of 1,000,000 people and you have a chance (albeit small) that no two have the same birtday, just as there is a chance all 1,000,000 have the same...
your whole use of numbers is wrong when you take a "random sample" Guess next you will tell me there is zero chance that a roulette wheel comes up red 1,000 times in a row..nope..there is a chance.
What you run out of is chances that out of 367 people they will all have different birthdays. Think of the odds that out of367 people they all have different birthdays.

I had a friend I worked with for over a year, then found out he was born less than 1 hour away from me.
on the same day
in the same year
We were exactly the same age, and didn't even know it.

This changes everything. I'll have to recalculate.

I had a kid in elementary school with the same first and last name.
With the same birthdate.
Same year
In the same state
In the same country.
With the same birthdate.
Same year
In the same state
In the same country.

I have another one for you - "birthdays" are really anniveraries of birth - to celebrate the year, for example, you would have to have the party the day before the birthday.
For example, Elvis Aaron Presley was born on January 8th, 1935. He was living his 365th day on January 7th, 1936.
Only if it's a Sunday.

there is only 366 possible birth dates in a year

The joke is you think that you can take a million people and there is a chance that none of them will share a birthday!
