So how do you explain the stories of people with LENGTHY rap sheets for violent crime, who then kill again when they are released?
Made up?
"Skronquavious had been an arrested 17 times prior before stabbing the old lady to death for 35 bucks."

Fr33, your reading comp skill are stronger than that. First, I very clearly stated that the anecdotal stories do happen; my position is that they are a very small percentage of total cases and don’t reflect the norm. Second, your hypothetical isn’t at all reflective of what I was talking about. So someone got arrested 16 times for shoplifting and once for an aggravated assault. There you go, 17 arrests including violent arrests. What did you want the criminal legal system to do about it, exactly? Give her life for a misdemeanor?
Again, there are shite prosecutors. There are shite judges. They do shitty things. It’s just not nearly as common as the 24 hour national news cycle would lead you to believe.

I think your position is dumb and if vigilante justice were legal I would shoot you over it.

You downvoters. Do you mean the kind of justice Charlie Kirk got the 2national guardsmen got that was your form of vigilante justice. What’s good for the goose is good for the gander it’s coming I’m just suprised it hasn’t happened sooner

At that point, after 17 arrests, the person should be locked up for life.
They clearly have zero intention to change their ways.

As opposed to repeatedly releasing someone who has demonstrated zero regard for the law or for others in a functioning society?
Yes. Lengthy incarceration is appropriate. At some point, public safety has to outweigh the absolute delusional fantasy that every offender can be rehabilitated. It’s nonsense, lock them up.

And that’s not an utterly unreasonable position to take; the reality is that the judge can’t give them more than six months for those misdemeanors. If your remedy is to rail over liberal judges instead of calling your congressman, your ire is misplaced.

Again, I hear ya. See my reply to Scruffy: call your congressman; don’t bitch about the judges.

The media has everyone so fricked up now. Would never be just.
shite like Charlie Kirk would go on and people would think it’s ok.
Look at all the dumbasses who thought the guy in New York was right to shoot the healthcare CEO. We are too stupid now to watch after our ourselves.
