I-10 through Baton Rouge looks like shite

Looks like the debris collecting along the barriers has been there for years. Weeds, trash, blown tires everywhere. Those big sound barriers look like they’ve been in baghdad for 100 years but less clean, all stained and black. Over half of of the guard rails are damaged or missing. Gross. Completely neglected. Ridiculous for the all the industry we have around here.

Just wait until it’s reduced down to one lane of crawling, stalling vehicles. With vagrants and junkies weaving in and out from between the barely moving cars.

Help me understand when there is only one lane both directions and there is an accident or a car breaks down. What is their plan?

Baton Rouge looks like shite. I notice every time I go there which is about twice a year. Embarrassing for a capitol city. Run down and depressing.

It's going to be an absolute clusterfrick for that entire year, if they follow through with the current plan. It's going to be so bad I can see the Governor having state agencies WFH again and possibly urge businesses in the area to do the same (especially if for their employees who have to use that thoroughfare).
