I used to tell my husband “the td weather guys say that …” and he’d say yeah right.

Now he’s asks me “what are the td weather guys saying?”

I would imagine we have landfall now or imminently. NHC will likely say as much in 20 minutes with the next update.

On some boards and the media, the “imminent” hasn’t even happened yet despite being said nearly 3 years ago.

Storms along the northern gulf coast typically weaken before landfall due to the water getting more shallow. Looks like this one isn’t going to do much damage for a Cat3 given how fast it’s moving and it’s a small hurricane
