Providing some context with it would be nice. Throwing the latest run up with no context and claiming it shows a trend when it doesn't should get a timeout.

Then other people started posting 10+ day fairyland GFS runs showing a major hurricane in the gulf
All we know is that it is now hurricane season, and there are points in time where areas have conditions that are prime for storms to develop. Then the GFS gets extremely aggressive when it calculates them on its long term guidance

I'm pretty sure the Euro got an update. Not sure how it has addressed the problem of not spinning up storms enough.
GFS is still the GFS and spinning up things too quickly.
Right now, I see a window in about 10 days (rds already mentioned it to, let's call it to a lukewarm response). This is a job for ensembles right now anyway.
