Of course. Development off the Georgia/South Carolina coast ends up in the gulf and headed right for Louisiana. SMH

Not sure I’ve ever seen a storm track like that before. Louisiana has been a magnet of late.

Didn't Barry do something similar a couple of July's ago? I know that was an MCV that just kind of spun up into a tropical system over water but IIRC it was a similarly stupid path.

Barry came down from kansas and dropped into the gulf out of Alabama then drifted west but same principle

Couldn't remember the details, I was in Yellowstone for most of the tracking of that one.
