I believe 2005 and 1933 were the years we had the most hurricanes. Not 2024. So yeah, they would be wrong.

Over the weekend I thought it was expecting to enter the Gulf closer to Mexico and sort of curve East towards LA/MS. Are we expecting another front this week that is going to push it east sooner?

Today's Happy Hour GFS takes aim on Tampa with a 977 mb hurricane in 7 or so days. Strongest run yet but just one of many possibilities this far out in time. Hopefully does not materialize for obvious reasons..
