Here in EBR we had 5 inches of rain the week before Francine. Then it rained over 3 1/2 inches during Francine.....another inch 1/2 in the following days. 10 inches in 2 weeks; almost 2 months worth of rain!
No where close to that in my piece of EBR.

You probably had the map on a 2 day and not a 7 day. Nothing is expected development in 2 days but later this week it is.

Should the bingo card be updated for a square of someone posting the “That’s a penis” gif?

The updated map shows no area of development in the gulf? Is it over?
It’s over. Breathe easy boys.

Nah just looked at the op. Thought it updated with the most recent info.

For some reason it went from the 7 day to ten 2 day in the OP. I got excited for a second too.

Not until rds says something overly complicated and Duke comments a page later dumbing it down saying it's over.

Plenty precipitable water in the W Caribbean and C America to work with

What part of EBR do you live in??
If this Gulf system does get a name ; it may not be K named storm (Kirk) after all ; with TD 12 and a new system in far Atlantic possibly developing quicker.
Latest GFS looks positive here...
.....a wave of tropical moisture comes up to south LA coast Friday ;
but the weak TS/TD stays south middle of Gulf headed for Florida Sun Coast near Siesta Key/ Sarasota Saturday .

The updated map (in the OP) is only showing Disturbance 2 on the 7 day. The one potentially headed to the Gulf is Disturbance 1 on the 7 day now. (The way the weather.gov website handles liking to potential storms is the reason for this.)
It is not over yet, unfortunately.

Bruh. I’m still serving meals to people in Florida. You mean I’m going to be away from home (and the wife I love (no pics)) for another week?

Is this 2 straight updates with nothing called out in the WCAB?

TD 12 is now being shown to hook right, then go to the County of Cork.

Quick sidebar question. Storm related.
I am going to start being proactive for future storms and want to make some pre cut out boards to cover my windows. Is 1/2" or 3/4" plywood recommended?
Appreciate it.

Go thinner and lighter.... they don't do much good if your roof gets ripped off.

Good Call. Also good bc 1/2" is WAY cheaper

And I’m sure they would figure this out but label them unless they’re all the same .. that way you can put them up quickly and not figure what goes where.
