Then exact landfall is a question. Everything is clustered right around Tampa Bay but exactly how far north or south will matt
Trend has been a little promising for Tampa it seems. Early guidance was a bit south or Tampa. Not enough to spare the winds, but enough to keep the surge down.

Brother there’s a point with your kids where the bandaid comes off. I reached that point a few months ago. It will be nice to see her if/when she gets here. Have not seen her in a month since she started college.

I usually just monitor these threads for information, but goddamnit this is Example 28374636261 of what is wrong with my generation.
You can’t go North? Look South and East. If you’re in Tampa, find a fricking campground inland towards WPB, it’ll be better than Tampa.

For god sakes lady you can’t evacuate because you have 6 kids and 4 dogs?!
You forgot the 3 adults. How do you have a house with 3 or 4 adults and you can’t afford to evacuate everyone for a few days, cram into some uncomfortable quarters for a few days for the safety of the 6 kids, 4 dogs, and 10 ducklings.

That is 100% not true...weird shite happens in storms...tornadoes happen , electrocutions happen, and a myriad of other issues..then there is the misery for days or weeks after where people have heat strokes and accidents cleaning up... Simply not true..
Ok, dude. Whatever. You can find tiny exceptions to everything. Again… based on living east of I-75, living, most likely in a home built of cinder blocks, and up to current Florida hurricane codes, with no tall trees, you are pretty damn safe.

Hey let’s all stop this bickering. Some of us are going to need this thread for real in a day. I think we can at least all agree on that. Cool?

You’re the one who said “you are literally in no danger whatsoever”

ABC-Tampa suspendered weatherman just said it jogged south. I am having trouble seeing it in the NHC map. It is not a detailed map. I will take any south at this point.

We went to a 1 bedroom cabin in East Central Mississippi to ride out Katrina’s aftermath. We had 23 people and 16 animals. We made it work and was grateful to be alive. Most of us slept outside but it was better than being on a roof in Chalmette

IMG Academy looks like they may be shuffling a large chunk of their students to the gym. Wow.
That’ll be a bit uncomfortable or a huge party.

Natalie is looking a little shop-worn from the neck up. She still has a flat tummy and those chest cannons. I wonder if firing those into the hurricane...?
