Man I hope I keep my shed. That thing was pure hell to put together. Cant believe we went from record breaking hurricane drought to getting a direct uppercut by the east side of the eye. Been staying hopeful and chill but it just seems to be aiming more perfectly at us and intensifying.

Im not stressed yet, I always tell the wife n kids never worry until you know. Just not as hopeful this will be a nothing burger lol.

Ive got 5 myself. They experienced that insane snow we got last winter and I told them dont get used to that freak event. Now its time for their first hurricane most likely.

Hey, it sounds like you have enough kids to weigh down the shed and keep it from blowing away. Put em to work!

I could only afford to get my mama one back in the day lol were going to suffer old school. Just in case of long outages, we'll use it to bump the fridge and deep freezer back to full temp.

Oh hell dude, jokes aside, im delegating my arse off lol. Theyre cleaning up the yard and woods, laying hay around the foundation, getting a burn set up, putting everything in the garage, feeding the chickens, turning furniture over, etc etc. They'll be pretty busy tmrw as well. Thank goodness were home schooling.

I just need to put up my fabric storm shields when I get home tmrw. Its comforting having those suckers.

It’s compact and facing shear but it’s definitely intensifying.

It’s blowing up but you can see the shear eating at it at the same time.

We’re definitely being saved a bit. This thing would bomb otherwise.

There seems to be a lot of us that live in the Pensacola region. Funky Tide 8 and I are almost within a stone's throw from each other, I learned today

Unfortunately I can't offer my help to y'all because I shuttered up the house this morning, took care of some other things, and headed out to Arkansas with a sick wife and toddler

Funky Tide 8 - you'll be fine from any surge at your place, surge typically doesn't even impact the homes closer to Texar during a major and this one is looking like it'll get ripped up pretty well before landfall and won't be close to major status coming ashore

And then there's always the options of it having a much more western/Eastern landfall in which case we're sitting pretty. But for now it looks like we're under the gun

Overall the city responds really well to cleanup and getting infrastructure back online, your biggest worries are probably going a couple days without power in your neighborhood. And that's with a fairly direct hit from Isaias
