What are the highest windspeeds at this time and where in the eyewall are they located?
Posted on 9/10/17 at 8:22 am to slackster
Thank God for any weakening it does.

Video of a dude checking wind speed. Got out of car and held up an instrument and got knocked down but recovered. Crazy. Said he got a wind gust of 117. Reading his twitter feed he said this was an eye wall reading. So based on the timing I will guess this was in Marathon.

Where's that guy at? I wonder what kind of mask he's wearing. That rain has got to hurt.

The mask looked like a paintball mask. I loved how he got out so casually too. Like no big deal.

Anybody else see Mike Seidel's camera man eat it?

Yea he must've slipped, this storm is pretty weak for a Cat 4, but as always the Weather Channel is full of exaggerating drama.

This was one of the storm chasers who was with Jeff in TX for Harvey.

Hey Juice.
Missed that. I can't stand to watch TWC because of their stupid shenanigans.

Jeff just said he will be live again in about 45 minutes.
Posted on 9/10/17 at 8:40 am to Front9Bandit
Yeah I assume he slipped or tripped. Was just funny to see his feet fly up in the air.

That's easily the strongest winds I've seen on camera in any of these live streams. Damn.

Just open the Periscope app.
Click on the lower right hand "People" icon.
Click on the magnifying glass icon.

Jeff's periscope are kind of lame. Do they get more entertaining when the storm gets closer? Or why such the love for him.
Edit.
Right after I say this he does something more entertaining and not just looking a pier.
Double edit. Didn't realize Jeff was blue shed guy.

Keep in mind, "surface" winds are measured at 10m off the ground, so getting 117mph 6 feet off the ground is about as good as you might see.
