Irmas shite winds don't go out too far.
If you dodge those you should be okay from wind. I'm more or less concerned with the water / surge when she pulls away. The GoM is coming into Naples.

It is about to get your attention. In a half hour you are supposed to bump up to 75-ish. You will top out around 6 pm. After 6 it is all downhill for the wind.

Watch for gators!! What street are you on? I can get your elevation from Goggle earth.
The wind will blow the water out until after the eye passes north of you then you will get a push inland.

I'm sure that everyone who is currently huddled down in Albany and Valdosta after evacuating the east coast of Georgia and Florida is looking forward to experiencing the hurricane firsthand.

We have a Preserve in front of us, a pond and I-75 behind us. Ditch is filling up. The house isn't in a flood zone, but the front and back yard are. I kept flood insurance and will never drop it.

Looks like elevation on that Street is 11-14 feet. I-75 is about 18 feet.
